Carrigaline Pottery, Manufactured in County Cork, Ireland

To our Carrigaline Pottery customers: On June 6, 2003 Carrigaline Pottery ceased operations. I was in Ireland at the time and was able to buy the last remaining items of carrigaline pottery which arrived in my shop on (7/15/2003). Some of the items that I have listed below are no longer available. Some items are in limited quantities and other products I have sufficient stock to last awhile.

This pottery company which has been in business since 1926 (77 years) was bought several years ago by Stephen Pierce Pottery who has decided to discontinue the product line. I understand the factory and shop @ Carrigaline will be replaced with commercial and residential buildings some time in the next two years. I expect these products to be duplicated by other companies; but, as these are originals from Carrigaline Pottery, their value in years to come should grow. Also, these will be the last of the original Carrigaline pottery line caring the authentic Carrigaline stamp which says Made in Ireland.

Almost out of Carrigaline Pottery and will shortly close this section of the site. Thanks to all those that purchased these products over the last several years. I enjoyed providing them to you and will miss this high quality product. Jim Cahill
